Made a trip to the Thai Buddhist Chetawan Temple on early Sunday morning with cwken as I wanted to increase more photos for my collection of places of worship series. Here are some of the photos I took, spend some time experimenting around with the photos on Photoshop and these are the results.

You can find the rest of the photos on my Flickr page.Feel free to comment so that I could improve further.

Hi, was surfing around for information regarding this temple. I like your shots the temple is a rather big complex. I did however find that your photoshopping made the Chetawan seem a look more ‘ominous and foreboding’ than ‘sacred and holy’ . That might just be me of the over-blown spots of colour in your clouds. Maybe you’d want to tweak them a bit more subtly if they are going into your portfolio as you say ^^

@Nicola: Making it feel dark and foreboding is on purpose as I shot the whole thing early in the morning before the sun comes up. I have the more cleaner brighter ones but I still prefer this one.
