The Star Spreading Porn Links Online

Yup, you read the title right.

The star covered the news release of the government here. The best thing is, I’m not sure they did it on purpose or the editor didn’t use his/her brain when it come to this, they posted all the links that the government banned!

The good part? The ban was mostly for government offices so we, the citizen of Malaysia, can still surf into those sites without them being blocked! How wonderful is that?!? According to Nigel Sia, one or two of the site also have Nuffnang’s ads! Boy, will they make some good bucks with the sudden “free advertisement” by The Star. Viewership is bound to go up in leaps and bounds in the next few days.

Here’s a screen-shot of the news report by The Star newspaper. Be warned, it’s quite a long one. Will take some time to load.

All I can say after this is… MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!!

    =_=

  • AiYa

ahahahah. they will never know unless they search rite?

  • Viya

I wonder what action they can take against the bloggers if their blogs are not hosted in Malaysia…

  • Michael Yip

@Linda: yah lo… they damn free to surf for these links

@AiYa: They are the only peep in Malaysia with alot of free time, that’s why you seldom see any front desk counters open when you go to their office.

@Viya: Only thing they can do is to ban those sites on the ISP side or lodge a report with Google asking them to remove the site. Well, even if the site isnt hosted on Malaysia, they can still take action against the bloggers, the same thing happened to Raja Petra and RockyBru even though their service is hosted oversea, the government can still take them to court.
