My first introduction to Sid’s Pub since I got back to Malaysia a few months back was the one in Bukit Tunku when I went there to meet several friends for a drink and chat.

Since then, another group of friends brought me along to the outlet in TTDI (Taman Tun Dr. Ismail) which is nearer to home and then to the one at Bangsar South, which compared to the other two, is a further drive away for me. But I somehow prefer the environment at the Bangsar South outlet as there’s more familiar faces there compared to the other two outlets. (more…)

Restaurant Mama Kitchen

It’s been awhile since I last went to this restaurant, back then it was known as Restaurant Famous Claypot Loh She Fun. Now, it has changed it’s name to Restaurant Mama Kitchen. Never did as them why the pick a name like Mama Kitchen but then, the only concern I have when I go there is the food that I was served.

Loh She Fun as I see it

The food I ordered was firstly, the ‘famous Petaling Street Claypot Loh She fun’. The serving was fantastic with ample amount of minced pork and a single nice fresh raw egg in the middle. It was steaming hot when served so you know how fresh it is. A quick stir to mix the egg into the noodles and it’s served into the bowl along with some minced meat. It was just perfect, the way I love it. It isn’t as oily as the one served in Petaling Street but then these days, we are talking about health conciousness right? (more…)

A Stroll in the Park

It was a quiet Saturday morning and just hour away from my little talk at HELP College. And so, I decide to take a walk around the TTDI park and have a look at the life and activities that goes on on a Saturday morning in that area

Life seems so peaceful and green in the area, with new life growing constantly around the old and dead.

Time seems to have slowed to a tortoise’s crawl and you see families, friends and even animals come out to play and bask in the morning sun.

Even flowers bloom and blossom in this morning.

With some growing to such beauty that they easily attract the attention of all who came across them.

There are some that just spend alot of time, monkeying around too.

Before I stumbled upon this beauty by the edge of the park and I invite her to join me in my afternoon’s endeavours.
