SEA Games 2009 Mixed Doubles Tennis Finals
Went to watch the SEA Games 2009 Mixed Doubles Tennis Finals between Thailand’s Tamarine Tanasugarn, Sanchai Ratiwatana and Thailand’s Varatchaya Wongteanchai, Sonchat ratiwatana. It’s a game where brothers battle against each other with their respective partners with Tamarine and Sanchai coming out on top (winning the Gold) at the end of the day.

I won’t bore you with a game by game analysis so here’s some photos from the tournament. I didn’t get the watch the other Tennis Finals as I had to be off to the broadcast center to prepare for the closing ceremony of the SEA Games. (more…)
Showdown of Champions 2008
Bukit Jalil’s Stadium Putra was buzzing with activities as tennis fans around Malaysia and the region (I hear some guys saying they were from Singapore and some from Europe) gather about to catch John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Roger Federer and James Blake in action. Oh yeah, this is going to be a photo heavy post compared to my usual two three photos posts. You’ve been warned.


Myself? I was there too! I’m no big tennis fan but as a sports enthusiast, I do know who is who in this game. Anyway, it was 6.40 when I reached the venue and went to grab some food before heading into the stadium to get my seat. Ella, Jaclyn Victor and Ning Baizura entertained the crowd before the players took the stage and start the ball rolling. (more…)
