Ken Ken Bentong Chicken Rice @ Restaurant Yat Yeh Hing

It was after a long meeting on a Saturday morning that we decide to just head over to a shop nearby for lunch (well… it wasn’t exactly a less than 15minute drive but what the heck…). The restaurant of choice was Yat Yeh Hing, just opposite St Ignatius Church (SIC) along the LDP heading towards Kelana Jaya.

Reaching there about 12ish, the place was already packed with patrons. Found us some seats and order was taken, it has been awhile since I last been to this restaurant so there were some procedures which I’ve forgotten. BenTok head over to the boiling pot of soup to self serve a few bowls of soup for the 3 of us. Lovely stuff as we can actually go get refills and they won’t tell us off unlike some other chicken rice shops I’ve been to before. (more…)
