Road Trip: Penang – A Photolog
It was an impromptu trip made on the 11th hour before departure to the island of Penang, a 5hour odd drive from Kuala Lumpur. It was a nice journey as it’s been 2 years since I last stepped into Penang. I would not write much about it as you can search through the multitude of blogs and websites telling you all about Penang the way they see it. For me, this is how I see it, hope you enjoy the photos.

After this jump, be prepared for tons of images. (more…)
Kopi Cine @ George Town
While walking around George Town, the group I was with decide to take a break and just relax, chill and do some silly photo shoot (you’d see those in another post). We stumbled upon this place after passing through some of the more rustic building and it just gave us that feel good and chill vibe.

Consisting of 2 shop lots, the layout is very simple with tables and chairs from all sort of eras, from the round chinese stools to metal chairs from the 60s, the place just ooze that Retro feel. (more…)
Salsa Social @ Penang
Since I started getting active dancing Salsa about 3 months back, I’ve been getting a constant flow of messages from random people asking me about where to go for salsa when they are in this particular area or in that particular area. Well, for those of you heading up to Penang, hope this helps.

I was in Penang during the 2nd weekend of July on an impromptu road trip (which I shall blog about later on), and one of the mission I had in mind was the visit the local salsa clubs there after promising some of the Penang dancers that I’ll be back after the 2008 Salsa Congress which was held in Penang. Road Trip: Pulau Pinang – A Video of Kek Lok Si Temple
Over the weekend, I went on a road trip to Pulau Pinang. Approximately 330km from home. While there, decide to make use of my compact camera and use it as a video recorder. It doesn’t provide us with the best quality video but heck, this is just for self indulgence and I’m not shooting this for any TV series so there’s no need for me to be armed with the usual the Sony DVW-790WSP or the Sony HVR Z1U that most people associate me with. Anyway, here’s a short video I put together, using just clips that I shot (or that I remember to shoot) while I was in Kek Lok Si Temple.
A more complete set of photos will be posted from this trip to Pulau Pinang. So do come back and visit more often or better yet, bookmark this site so you can easily click and visit.
