Kedai Makanan Seng Huat Bak Kut Teh @ Klang
This was the first time I went to this restaurant, supposedly very famous and serve one of the best Bak Kut Teh in Klang. So with many people singing praises for this restaurant, I went there with quite a high expectation on the food they served. Knowing how busy a chinese restaurant can get, I didn’t really bother about their service which as expected was the usual chinese styled very busy until I don’t have time to serve you sort.

I must say that the unique location does add to it’s attraction with it being beneath a bridge (well, not entirely beneath it) and next to the KTM track. In term of seating space, go early if you want to get down to some eating fast cause the place get packed very fast and you’d have to resort to intercepting seating space as soon as the patrons before you finished their meal. Sid’s Pub @ Bangsar South
My first introduction to Sid’s Pub since I got back to Malaysia a few months back was the one in Bukit Tunku when I went there to meet several friends for a drink and chat.

Since then, another group of friends brought me along to the outlet in TTDI (Taman Tun Dr. Ismail) which is nearer to home and then to the one at Bangsar South, which compared to the other two, is a further drive away for me. But I somehow prefer the environment at the Bangsar South outlet as there’s more familiar faces there compared to the other two outlets. (more…)
Braised Pork and Potatoes
I don’t really know the exact name of this dish, some sites online called it Red Cooking Pork and Potatoes, some called it Braised Pork and Potatoes. For me, I call it one of my favorite dish. This is a traditional chinese dish, a stew that is very simple to prepare.

Ingredients:
- 3 strips of Pork loins, cut to cubes
- 4 Potatoes, chopped to cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons of thick Soy Sauce (do keep this around as you might need to add in a tad more if it’s not to taste yet)
- 2 tablespoons of light Soy Sauce (do keep this around as you might need to add in a tad more if it’s not to taste yet)
- 2 pieces of garlic
- 1 red onion, sliced to 8 pieces
- 1 cup of water (more…)
Porkie Noodle @ Restoran Pomander
It’s one of the restaurant I love to visit, unlike it’s previous location, this new one mainly is an air-conditioned venue but the same stalls was there from ther previous location. I never really paid attention to the name of the restaurant as you can read here until recently.

Each time I go, the usual pork noodle would be ordered along with a small plate of Roast Pork. I feel that the Chicken Rice stall there was mainly there to compliment the Pork Noodle stall as I observed many orders placed with the young chap was mainly for the Char Siew or Roast Pork and/or Roast Chicken and seldom with rice. Sunrise Duck Revisit
I decided to revisit the famous Sunrise Duck Restaurant in Seapark. Told Joshuaong about it at the mamak session and ask him to bring his other half along. It was a Saturday and 11.30am was the time we arrived at the restaurant. We thought that it would be packed on a weekday, boy, it was super packed even at 11.30. We were lucky to find ourselves a table.

Joshua told us he’ll be late so without waiting, we decide to order half a duck to start off as appetizer. The standard I normally order would also come with a plate of vegetable and 2 large bowl of soups as I love to drink soup. (more…)
