Made a trip to the Thai Buddhist Chetawan Temple on early Sunday morning with cwken as I wanted to increase more photos for my collection of places of worship series. Here are some of the photos I took, spend some time experimenting around with the photos on Photoshop and these are the results.

Creating Art through photography?

These sunset shots by the beach was shot along the same time as the lalang shots but instead of just posting up the photos as what I normally do, this time around, I tried to play around with photoshop, to see what kind of effect I can turn up with all those filters, plug-ins and actions. Creating Art out of Photography?

These days, as you can see on my blog, I’ve been actively going around taking photos, basically of anything and everything that caught my attention.

Some of them nice, some of them not, some of them overly done, some of them… well, you get the idea. These are two photos I took recently, I kind of like it but the original was just a tad too …. plain for me. So I started playing around with them using photoshop and photomatix pro.

Interesting Photoshop Brushes

Was browsing the DeviantArt website to do some updating and came across some interesting brushes that could come in handy in upcoming work. Before proceeding further, here’s a quick ‘tip’ on how to install the brushes.

Place the *.abr files into:
Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop X\Presets\Brushes where X is the version number for your version of Photoshop.

Brushes created in Photoshop 7 or later will not work in earlier versions of Photoshop. Any Photoshop brushes should work in Photoshop 7 and later.

From the Brushes Palette in Photoshop, click the small arrow in the upper right corner of the palette, and choose load brushes. The brushes will be added to the current brushes.
