Photo Time-Lapse x ContourGPS

Posted By Michael Yip / October, 2, 2011 / 0 comments

Was playing around with the ContourGPS and after updating the little fella with the latest updates, decide to take it out for a spin setting the camera to time lapse mode. I went around the housing area and let it run by itself while I grab some dinner and this is the result, have a look at the video.

Shot on the ContourGPS, converted the photos into a video using my iMovie, wish the Contour’s Software was able to stitch the photos together since it had the ability to adjust the settings for that bit of the process. Might as well complete the package with a timelapse stitch as well right? Was just experimenting with the little bugger and maybe later on will try to get more from the little package, maybe a longer time lapse over a longer distant?

You’re losing control yet you don’t realize it.

But if you don’t care, then it’s just a shame.

Road Trip: Penang – A Photolog

I would not write much about it as you can search through the multitude of blogs and websites telling you all about Penang the way they see it. For me, this is how I see it, hope you enjoy the photos.

After this jump, be prepared for tons of images. (more…)

New Layout & Theme

I’ve finally decided that once and for all, it’s time to change the way my site looks. After alot of browsing around for that right theme, I finally found one that I feel would be suited to what I wanted to do.

Here’s how my old theme looked like, this theme has served me for a good 3 years now and as we move into the fourth year of this blog (I started the blog in October 6, 2006, on my birthday), I decided that a change definitely is on hand. But it was quite hard cause I was unable to find ‘the right’ theme that I should use. (more…)
