Road Trip: Penang – A Photolog
It was an impromptu trip made on the 11th hour before departure to the island of Penang, a 5hour odd drive from Kuala Lumpur. It was a nice journey as it’s been 2 years since I last stepped into Penang. I would not write much about it as you can search through the multitude of blogs and websites telling you all about Penang the way they see it. For me, this is how I see it, hope you enjoy the photos.

After this jump, be prepared for tons of images. (more…)
Huge Tree Shaded Weld Quay Seafood
The talking point of this restaurant is the huge tree that this restaurant was build around as well as the use of an abandoned burnt down building as it’s site is another. Of course, the seafood is also important but still, any tourists that walked towards that restaurant would just gawk at the way the place was set-up before ordering any food.

The restaurant is just located opposite Penang Ferry Terminal (Jetty). Although customer is not allow to park their car in front of the stall, there are parking lots available down the corner. A Wide selection of fresh produce is placed before the customers so you can pick and choose what you want to eat, and if you want to stand around, you can watch them prepare and cook the dishes you ordered too. Thai Food @ Bukit Genting Hill, Penang
Continuation from my long list of posts regarding my trip to Penang, this one is about this little place known as Bukit Genting Hill. Awesome name right? A Place with two Hill in it’s name. Getting there requires a bit of a drive towards Balik Pulau towards the south west part of the island, in term of address, there’s not really one proper one so scroll down this post to get the GPS Coordinate that I’ve captured when I was there.

If you ask me, the journey was worth it as the scenery from the restaurant was beautiful. We got ourselves there around 5.30pm after a long day of touring around the Penang Island. Was told that the food was worth the drive there but I am not too sure how true is that cause it doesn’t taste all that great to me. Maybe it’s the landscape that help build the rating up. (more…)
