MTV World Stage Malaysia 2011 – Party People Camwhore Photos
For those of you wanting to see photos of the performance, do hang on a bit as that post will be up after this. For now, it’s all about the people I was partying the night away with at the MTV World Stage 2011 in i-City. Got to the venue by around 6.30pm just when the VJs was getting the crowd ready for the show that MTV was recording.
VJ Utt and Holly Grabarek took to the stage to fire up the crowd as the 1st performance was about to start. Myself? Chilling at the back end of the crowd with Kelly Siew, Amanda Loh and gang as I don’t want to get to the front only to be stuck there until the end of the concert. It’s just going to be mad. Right? Also, if I were in front, it’ll be tough for me to take out my camera to snap away as there’s a no camera policy being enforced in the venue. Cowboys Hitting The Dance floor
While majority of the KLites are either at MTV World Stage 2010 at Sunway Lagoon or at the Heineken Green Room, there are also some of us who prefer to just hang out with a bunch of friends at Modesto’s in CapSquare for our regular Salsa Night. As there are some of you who asked me why I don’t post up photos from my Salsa outing anymore, well, here’s the photos from the night. This Saturday Night’s theme was Cowboy/chequered shirts and through the social media networks, a lot of the dancers found out about the theme and came dressed for the occasion.
Just in case you want to plan your trip to the salsa venues, do note that most of the time, the dancing starts at 10pm as the places we go to also serves dinner services before we take over the dance floor. But we do have cases where the party starts earlier but those will be announce way earlier for all to take note. Every Saturday Salsa Social Nights are theme nights and normally we announce the theme of the night a day or two before. Nikon D700s used at MTV Movie Awards 09
Check out this cool video that was done at the MTV Movie Awards ’09 where they uses the Matrix Effect but shot using 48 Nikon D700s. This whole set-up was produced by The Big Freeze and is custom build specially for the MTV Movie Awards 2009.
Check out the reason why he decided to use the Nikon cameras instead of other gears too!
