Super GT series back for the 11th year
Come June 18 – 19, the Malaysian MotorSports Fraternity will be abuzz with the 11th edition of the Super GT series as JP Performance Motorsports (JPM) will be taking over the management of the Malaysian edition from this year onward. On the 19th of February, JPM and GTA Co. Ltd. signed the agreement at Equatorial Hotel as Sepang International Circuit is handing over the baton to JPM to manage with the hopes of producing an even more electrifying event.
“Super GT is the fastest Super Grand Touring car race in the world and it will be an honor to host it. SIC has been doing an excellent job before this and with their assistance, we hope to make this year’s event another major success in the Malaysian racing calendar” said JPM’s JP Chin. (more…)
Salsa in Malaysia: Salsa Social Dance Venues
Here’s a compilation of venues to go when you are looking for a place to dance salsa. These are venues that I personally know of so if there’s any other places that is hosting any Salsa Social parties on the days I’ve not stated down, please let me know. I’m listing it down from Monday to Sunday rather than having specific dates of the month as the days and venues has remained consistently the same throughout each week when it comes to Salsa Social parties.
Malaysia World Latin Salsa Congress in 2012?
It’s been awhile since we last organized the Malaysia World Latin Salsa Congress (The last 1 was in 2009) and there’s also a number of dancers at the clubs and via facebook has been asking me whether we will be organizing another one anytime soon… So let’s have a vote, shall we? Let’s see what most of you guys want. Whether we should organize 1 next year or not? Let’s see what’s the result after a month and an announcement will be made after that whether a Salsa Congress will be on or not for 2012.

Miss Tourism International 2010/2011 Finals
The Miss Tourism International 2010/2011 Finals was held on the New Year’s Eve at Sunway Resort which also includes the countdown to welcome 2011. An event that is considered the main highlights of the Malaysian Tourism calendar. It was an event with dinner, beauty queens and of a celebration. Since I had no plans for that night, I attended the event along with friends as we had a table as one of the sponsors for the event.
56 girls spend a month in Malaysia to try and win the title of Miss Tourism International 2010/2011 and boy, did they go all out to impress everyone or what! The 8 course dinner food served by Sunway Resort was just ok, nothing to shout about but then we were not there for the food. The event started at 8.30pm with some announcement and showreel of the girls visiting various parts of Malaysia but instead of the girls catching my attention in the video montage, it was the way the montage was made. Like some back in the 80s kind of production that is quite cheesy by today’s standard. Even overheard on the table behind me about the video with the main question of why is it so …. old fashion styled. (more…)
Hitler’s furious rant after the Malaysia vs Indonesia match
Have a good laugh as we get into 2011. This is after the Malaysia defeated Indonesia before the 2nd match in Indonesia’s Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
