Chelsea Training Session @ Shah Alam Stadium

Posted By Michael Yip / July, 29, 2008 / 12 comments

5.30pm, that’s the time I arrived at the Shah Alam Stadium, all nicely geared up with what I need to shoot some photos at the venue. I know for sure is I got alot of stares from the entrance all the way to where I get my seat. If you’ve no idea why, just have a good look at my jersey!

Anyway, I’m planning to wear like that again for the match day. Of course, not this same jersey but Man Utd’s home jersey, the red one. I was told by IcyQueenGoddess that she’d be going in her red Liver (chokes.. I couldn’t complete the sentence) jersey as well. So i wonder whether we’ll live through the night or not.

Heineken House (Pre-Match Party) and PAS

Posted By Michael Yip / July, 28, 2008 / 1 comments

One thing I’m quite piss about at this moment was the fact that PAS tried to rule other races by banning the freaking Heineken party! When I went to collect the invite earlier today, I was informed that I could just keep the invite for momento sake as they’ve cancelled the Heineken pre-match party.

I asked why so and was informed that due to PAS’ constant harassment, the Selangor government decide to ban Heineken from the match they sponsored! (Read more here and here) I mean like, why what the heck?

So are we safe to say that booze should not be sold at any venue where muslim would be around? Then they better go close down all those pubs, bars and clubs in Malaysia along with the factories manufacturing all those beers like G.A.B. and Carlsberg cause at the end of the day, I know for sure that there’s muslims in those area.

PAS is really pissing me off with their attitute of I’m Holier than Thou. They are just ruining the life of all the normal citizen’s life (as far as I’m concern, in Selangor). Why in the world did anyone would vote PR in when they are doing this type of crap and stopping any type of fun from being organized in places where they are around? I think their sense of FUN is watching their own beard grow. Too much free time in their lifes to go ruining the life of other people. Don’t you feel?

Why am I so worked up about it? Heck, simple reason. They can’t drink beer in public and they are stopping everyone else from doing so! If they don’t want muslims to drink, by all mean, send one of their own people and stand by the entrance like a guard dog and screen through all those that gets into the party area! And I think they should do that at all entertainment joints! That’s right, since they are so free to do all this nonsense, by all mean, go stand at the entrance of ZOUK or EUPHORIA and stop any one they think is a Muslim from entering the venue. Wouldn’t that be good? The citizen’s tax being put to good use at the end of the day!

GRRR!!! Bunch of Fark Faces. I WANT MY BOOZE! I think I’ll sneak in some beers with me to the venue.Have my own booze party! Anyone in agreement should bring a can or two as well and share with anyone who wants! After all, we’re not a company or an organization, they can’t stop us from drinking. Right?

Chit Chat with Fiqa (MDG)

Posted By Michael Yip / May, 26, 2008 / 7 comments

This was done some time back but only found the time to post it up now. Spend some time having a talk with Fiqa and well, asked her some question which I told her will be posted on my blog. So here’s some of the things we touched on.

Fiqa Liyana Chong first came into the limelight through the Malaysia DreamGirls competition and with each passing weeks, fans of the show grew to like her even more. At the MDG Finals held at 1Utama, she blew everyone away with her transformation and makes it look like she has been doing the fashion catwalk all her life (I think she got the 2nd loudest cheers from the crowd with Hanis getting the loudest pop at the event). Anyway, on with the chit chat…

M: what are your plans now that MDG is over?
F: my plans after MDG once over is to apply college in KDU for July intake.. besides continuing study, i just signed contract with Capxion Media.. so now, i’ll be getting lots and lots of jobs from them hopefully.. =)

M: In terms of experience, what would have been the most impactful ever that you had from MDG?
F: I think i have learnt a lot from the whole experience and i don’t think there is one certain thing that i can plug out to say it is better than the other. all the photoshoots and things they taught me from MDG really did change me and also made me a better person. (more…)
