ESPN brings you the Clash of the Titans! Liverpool vs Manchester United
The Champ19ns heads to Anfield on the 15th of October to take on Liverpool and ESPN is bringing the Grandstand to Red Carpet Avenue – Encorp Strand (Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya). What better way for me to catch the match than to just walk down the road from home to catch the game and in Full HD too! Well, all that said, as long as it doesn’t rain but then, we are talking about Malaysian weather. Right?
The Red Devils racked up a grand total 19 league titles following last season’s victory, elevating the club as the most successful team in England at the expense of Liverpool. However, United will be gunning to set the record straight at the Kop this Saturday after Luis Suarez inspired Liverpool to a 3-1 home romp over Sir Alex Ferguson’s side last season. This matchup seldom disappoints and with bragging rights at stake, one can only expect an epic encounter this weekend! (more…)
Liverpool Asia Tour 2011 – Photos and Video of Malaysia XI vs Liverpool FC
Liverpool FC stepped into the stadium on game day to thunderous cheer from their supporters as they took on a Malaysian side looking to do better after losing to Arsenal FC a few days ago. Coming from a game where they beat Guangdong 4-3 just 3 days ago, Malaysians get to enjoy more goals in a much more entertaining match between the Malaysian XI and Liverpool FC.

I must say that I was extremely proud of the Malaysian team’s performance today compared to the way they play against Arsene Wenger’s team as the boys didn’t give up easily and kept up with the Liverpool players. Quite a number of fans didn’t expect the boys to score against Liverpool after what they saw at the Arsenal match but we were all extremely happy that there were goals on both side of the nets. Liverpool Asia Tour 2011 – Photos and Video of Training Session @ Malaysia
The day after Arsenal came and ran away with 4 goals against Malaysia, Liverpool FC hit town with their players making an appearance in Bukit Jalil to conduct their training in front of their fans. If I were to compare the two group of fans that turned up for both Arsenal FC and Liverpool FC, I would say there was more die hard Liverpool fans as 1/2 the stadium was filled with their fans instead of the 1/4 filled stadium during Arsenal FC’s training session.

The boys arrived into Malaysia at 4.30am and we can tell that they were visibly jet-lagged during the training. The coaching team was in a jovial mood though as I got to chat with them about their trip so far in Asia. I can’t really ask them about their experience in Malaysia so far as they just arrived in the morning and they have been busy with back to back press conference sessions. It’s also silly to ask them that question too even though I heard some one actually asking them that. 6 hours after they arrived, checked into their respective rooms and then PC time. Do you really need to ask that type of question? Really? Seriously? (more…)
