West End Stars in Concert @ Istana Budaya

I love musicals, yes, coming from a toad who is me. Kind of surprising huh? But seriously, I love musicals, used to be part of musicals that was done in school as well as in college. I still remember that we used to have a KDU Night at KDU where students from various faculties would pit against once another on stage performance/musicals but sadly, after it all stopped on the year I left KDU.

But we’re not here to talk about my college life but on these West End Stars that came down from London to perform for 2 nights (15 April and 16 April at 8.30pm) only at Istana Budaya with a guest appearance by our very dear Jaclyn Victor. Last I spoke to Chedd and the lovely Tiara Jacquelina, the tickets are almost as good as sold out with only the RM80 seats are still available, so better head to Istana Budaya and grab those tickets from the box office because seriously, if you’re into songs from the musicals, you wouldn’t want to miss this 2 night only performance. Britain’s Got Talent: Susan Boyle

Check out this awesome rendition by Susan Boyle with a song from Les Misérables. She performed “I Dreamed a Dream”. It’s another British invasion!

Thanks to YouTube, Boyle has become a worldwide sensation after her jaw-dropping performance on Britain’s Got Talent. As of this afternoon, her seven-minute clip has received close to 12 million views.

As soon as the unemployed, Scottish cat owner opened her mouth, the audience broke into thunderous applause. Even crabby Simon Cowell was stunned by the 47-year-old, as were his fellow judges on the show.
