I know … I know… cheesy title.
I did this shoot quite some time back, only got about going through it. You could see the photos I took at a certain restaurant’s menu if you have been following what I was doing a couple of months back. These are my favorite shots that I like.
Ajisai Bento @ Kiku Zakura
Some of the japanese food I love could be found in Kiku Zakura, after a night’s shoot recently, I was treated to a hearty set of Bento from Kiku Zakura. The exact name for this dish is Ajisai Bento.
The Bento consist aside from the usual side dishes of salad, rice and soup, it also has a huge serving of tempura prawn which is quite filling, imagine you have 2 huge prawns waiting to be eaten. What more can you ask for right? (more…)
Unagu @ Kiku Zakura
Decide to have lunch at Kiku Zakura in Midvalley yesterday and ordered the Unagu after browsing through the extensive list of food available on the menu.
My aim isn’t to try as much food as I can but just to fill up my stomach for lunch.
This dish might look simple with just rice, some sauce and 2 pieces of Unagi in it but boy o boy. It was really filling after you wash it all down with a cup of japanese tea. I do fancy unagi alot so it didn’t took me long to pick this dish out above all the other juicy looking dishes on the menu.
The restaurant is located in Midvalley, at the same floor as the GSC so it’s not hard to miss. If you love to watch midnight movies, it’s the only other restaurant apart from McD’s that’s still open late at night. Especially towards weekends, they are open up to 1am, as long as there’s customers wanting to eat, they are open. Not many restaurants would do that these ways.
