Happy 20th Birthday Adobe Photoshop!

As a long time user of Adobe Photoshop from my college days til now. I want to say a HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADOBE PHOTOSHOP!

Here’s an interview with John Knolls, one of the founder developer of the Photoshop software designers and photographers so rely on in their work.

My first foray into using the Photoshop was back when it was still in version 3.0. That was also the time when I first encountered this CPU known as the Mac or the one I used, the PowerPC. It was all part of my studies where I had to learn how to use it along with Adobe Illustrator for my graphic design assignments. I never used it though for photography purposes back then as we had to do it the old fashion way using the Dark Room where we learn how to develop the photos. So in essence, my first experience with Photoshop was more to using it to tweak and design stuff that is used for posters and all. Apart from that, my knowledge with Photoshop when it comes to image/photo manipulation is as good as zero. (more…)

1. Tell me about yourself?

Ans : The most often asked question in interviews. You need to have a short statement prepared in your mind. Be careful that it does not sound rehearsed. Start with the item farthest back and work up to the present.

2. Why did you leave your last job?

Ans: Stay positive regardless of the circumstances. Never refer to a majorproblem with management and never speak ill of supervisors, co-workers or the organization. 3. What experience do you have in this field?

Ans: Speak about specifics that relate to the position you are applying for. If you do not have specific experience, get as close as you can. (more…)
