Hennessy Artistry The Global Art of Mixing @ MIECC 2011 – Camwhore Photos!
Yes, these are all camwhore photos and there’s a lot of them. So if you want to look on, be prepared to wait for some loading time, especially those of you who still uses Streamyx. Cause I know I did. Anyway, just a quick round-up on the night and what I think of the party, the second one held at MIECC that I’ve attended. Crowd started to gather and head in around 8.30ish but the bulk of the crowd only turn up at 10 and their complain was, there was just too much people. Well, I could only say is, the registration counter opens at 8pm, you should have thought about this before coming in at the same time as everyone else right? Some of those that uses their brains came early, registered, and then head over to Mines Shopping Mall for dinner before partying the night away. So next round, if you know you’re going to come at the time when everyone else decide to come, don’t complain about the long line. No harm in showing up early to avoid the crowd.

The gate to the main floor officially opens at 10pm, allowing some of those who has already stepped into the playpen to have some fun at the interactive wall and the drinks, didn’t bother about all these stuff as there’s just too many people who wants to get into the games, furthermore, these are the same thing that Hennessy put up at their Artistry at Opera. By 11, the VIP area was packed with people and everyone was just crowding around the bar. I had a little “argument” with the bartenders when they refuse to give me the drinks On The Rock as they claim their directive was to have all the drinks mixed. Lucky that their supervisor was there and he was kind enough to give me some. Reason I prefer mine on the rock? Mixing the Hennessy just dilutes the drink and spoil it’s taste. So there’s no kick to it once it’s mixed, so I prefer mine undiluted, straight out of the bottle, with 3 cubes of ice. Not like it’s that strong that people can get drunk with it right? (more…)

Fans of “The Global Art of Mixing” can look forward to the biggest party of 2011 when the likes of Chris Willis, Yolanda Be Cool, Landy Wen, Park Jung Min, DJ Goldfish & Blink will be heating up the Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Center (MIECC) tomorrow. Earlier, Chris, Yolanda Be Cool, Park Jung Min and the Malaysian Duo, DJ Goldfish & Blink made an appearance to answer some question by the local media. Sadly, Landy Wen couldn’t make it to the Press Conference.

Julie Woon was the emcee of the Press Conference and throughout the whole hour, she was trying to get everyone drunk. What an Awesome emcee, but then, that could only happen when the Press Conference serve Alcohol as well. Right? (more…)

Hennessy Artistry 2011 @ Opera – Photos
The party has finally ended albeit abruptly because of some roof collapse when Vandalism was performing, Opera couldn’t handle the pressure of the party? I still don’t understand why Opera was chosen as from my previous experience in this place when it comes to event, it just could not handle it. Anyway, my team wasn’t the one behind this event so who am I to comment about the choice of venue. Right?

It was drizzling when I got to Opera where they erected a platform where you need to register and then proceed to a few interactive booths. Here’s the funny thing, a bunch of us (including some media) was not allowed to go in (registration was supposed to start at 8.30pm but we had to stand under the rain until 9pm) as the registration counter was not open yet but every now and then, we see 2 – 3 people walking in to get themselves registered because they know the organizer. Guess it’s always better to know someone inside who can let you in while everyone waits for their turn. (more…)
