Abdul grew up in Kota Baru, a town located on the East Coast of Malaysia, and then moved away to Kuala Lumpur to do his law degree in order to fill up the Bumiputera quota. He decided to come back to Kota Baru, because he could be a big man and really wanted to impress everyone.. So he returned and opened his new law office.

Hennessy Artistry @ Orange Club
Hennessy Artistry featuring Shayne Ward, The DEY and Until June as well as DJ Tom Price has come and gone. I’m sure those who went enjoyed themselves tremendously and those who didn’t go wished they could have gone. As for myself, it was a memorable night throughout. This i consider a long and photo heavy post, so you’ve been warned.
The Hennessy Girls n Me
Firstly, I reached there about 7.15 with Freaky and Dinnas as I informed 15 photographers both experienced and new to attend this event as a field trip to learn about event photography. It might look easy and all but it really isn’t especially if you’re working with the most basic of gears which doesn’t help with it’s less than good compatibility with low lights. It’s either sacrificing the noise or go low on the shutter speed to get the shots we want.

About 8.15pm, that’s when every 15 photographers registered to attend the event showed up. A Quick briefing and a walk-about of the venue was done and the photographers was then encourage to fire away! As for myself, I go about grabbing some shots as well to keep myself entertained. The crowd started to build up even from 7.30ish but the doors to the venue was still blocked until 9pm before the crowd was invited to register themselves at the counters to get into the venue. The performing celebrities showed up about that time as well and with over 20 photographers there. They were mobbed around the vanity board to pose and all. I didn’t bother to try and grab shots as it’s more of a priority to allow the other 15 take what they want. (more…)

Just thought I’d dedicate this video to StrippedSteph as she couldn’t make it to Hennessy Artistry.
Recorded it when Shayne performed ‘No You Hang Up’ during his performance. Just thought it’d be an appropriate song for her.
First time recording a video using a point n shoot camera. Felt odd as I’m so used to record videos using a huge ass camera.

Hennessy Artistry @ Orange Press Conference!
Are you as excited as I am? Hennessy Artistry @ Orange Club is happening tomorrow!
Earlier today, the press conference was held at the venue with fellow media and bloggers in attendance. The focus of the night was definitely Shayne Ward, followed by Until June and The DEY. Pam Chong introduced the guests briefly followed by a short speech by Ken Vin, the Brand Manager of Hennessy V.S.O.P. (more…)

Hennessy Artistry @ Bukit Kiara part 1 of 2
Hennessy Artistry has come and gone, the party was great, the performances was great and the drinks was excellent. Why am I still awake after partying whole night long and after having a good dim sum breakfast?

Just a quick post before the rest of the photos are ready.
Apart from my party kakis, some of the ShutterAsians was there to party the night away as well.
Here’s some highlights of what went on at the Hennessy Artistry.

Hennessy Artistry “The Global Art of Mixing” Press Conference
Attended the Press Conference for the Hennessy Artistry “The Global Art of Mixing” at KL Hilton earlier. The artistes are all here and they are all hyped up to perform for the KL crowd at the Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena.
The artistes that was there includes Flo Rida, Machi, DJ Latin Prince and Pop Shuvit answering questions from the media about the event tomorrow.
The Managing Director of Riche Monde, Mr. Frederic Noyere kicked off the Press Conference with a short speech stating “We are all really looking forward to tomorrow’s event. The Hennessy Artistry event take place all over the world in the most chic and trend-setting cities and I’m proud to hae Kuala Lumpur as part of that emsemble.”
Aside from that, we were treated to the first haaste at the latest cocktail specially prepared by Hennessy’s cocktail specialist, Mr. Sam Jeveons, who demonstrated to the attendees how to make Hennessy Kuala Lumpur.
The delicious drink, which features a tropical blend of lime juice and pineapple juice with a generous helping of Hennessy V.S.O.P. Cognac which carries a blend of tropical flavor which reflects the refreshing blend of cultures in our city.
The party’s tomorrow and I’ll be there. The Door’s opening at 9pm so if you’re heading to Bukit Kiara, don’t forget the time!. See you there!
