Hancock Screening

Thanks to the people at Nuffnang, last night, went to watch the screening of HANCOCK at Cineleisure Damansara.

Hancock is a superhero film directed by Peter Berg and starring Will Smith, Jason Bateman, and Charlize Theron. John Hancock (Will Smith) is an unhappy and reluctant superhero who is living in his own world. For some unknown reason, Hancock is depressed and has started drinking very heavily. He has saved many lives in Los Angles over the years, but in doing so, he has no regards for damaging buildings, trains, roads, cars, or anything that gets in his way to get the job done. The last time he captured several criminals, it cost the city $9 million to fix the damages. The public has had enough of Hancock, and they want him to stop or go to another city. Then one day, Hancock saves the life of Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman) from being run over by a train. Ray is a Public Relations executive who now can go home to his wife and child, because Hancock was there. Ray owes Hancock his life, and he makes it his mission to change his superhero’s image and have the public cheering him.

Thanks to Nuffnang as well, walked away with a nice little goodie bag containing the following at the movie too!

Not Your Average Super Hero

I was pointed to this link on Nuffnang and as all typical citizen of Malaysia, I wrote in to give it a try. Cause this is a chance to go watch ….

Anyway, yeah .. I’m supposed to write about any super hero in reality and my pic is my all time fav. Mr. Wolverine himself.

Yeah, imagine, if Logan aka Wolverine is a real person living in the real world. He will have so much problems trying to get around. For example… He needs to go to Japan to solve a mystery that will give him more clues to his past and the only way he can get there is by flight.

He’ll never be able to walk past the metal detector at the airport. One step in and all the buzzers will ring out like crazy! And then there’s the other thing about the Adamantium claws he have stored under his skin. Each time he gets angry, wham! He hit his fist onto a wall, if he’s in a real fit, he’ll leave 3 holes on the wall! Imagine the bills he’ll get from all those establishments he damaged when he gets angry. With no work other than what he does at the School for Gifted Children, how will he pay for the damages? All I can see is lawsuit lawsuit lawsuit!

Well, let’s see if this will win me 2 tickets for the movie. Until then… all fingers crossed…. Nuffnang! Give me the tickets or I’ll set Wolverine on you!
