Sun Set … sharing session
Here’s more photos from the sun set series to share.
Playing in the Lalang field
I know over the past couple of months, you’ve been seeing a lot of sun set photos from me. Well, I can’t really help it as that’s one of the most beautiful and magical hours to me.

The play of light at that hour is just magnificant, God’s wonders never cease to amaze me. How the heaven turn the day to night and the colors that appears in between that switch. It’s incredible don’t you think so? (more…)
Setting Sun Over Port Dickson
Another landscape series from me, this was shot at Port Dickson near the Yacht Club against a hazy backdrop. As you know, lately the west coast of Malaysia has been enveloped by a layer of haze, it’s nothing new of course since Indonesia, our oh so friendly neighbor like to burn things in the open and fan it our way.

Marina Bay in the Evening
One of the places I checked out when I’m in Singapore was the Marina Bay area. The very ground where the Singapore GP is held since last year (2008). It’s quite a beautiful area really, looking out at the bay area in the setting sun as all the buildings start to light up. Sadly the sky wasn’t really that clear when I was there but I tried what I can do capture the best image I could with my trusty camera.
Here we can see the high rise buildings along with the famous ‘durian’, the esplanade.

Mosque @ Dusk
After taking photos of the Sikh Temple a couple of weeks back, I decided that it would be a nice thing to do to capture images of other places of worship as well. How they look early in the morning when the sun is rising or in the evening when the sun is setting. Depending of course on which direction the sun comes up or down against the building itself.

So here’s one of the Kota Damansara mosque taken in the evening just before muslims enter the place for their Maghrib prayers. The first shot was a HDR of 9 images which in my opinion isn’t very good, am still learning to use photomatix to bring out the best of the image. Definitely will try again and update this post if I manage to come up with a better image. (more…)
