New Logo for Mike Yip

As you guys know, these days, we have to watermark our images as tend to be used by a lot of people, especially when it comes to event photos. If you’ve not seen my watermark before (so what were you trying to see the few times you came in here if it’s not for the photos?), here’s how it looked like. Simple, intrusive and positioned at the lower right of the photo.

Well, here’s a new one designed by Splashmilk for my studio works. One that in a way slightly hidden if placed correctly and look like tattoo on the subject’s body. I’ve been wanting to do one as there were times that having a watermark on the image isn’t just enough as it does sometimes spoil the overall feel of the image. So I present to you… (more…)

New Layout & Theme

I’ve finally decided that once and for all, it’s time to change the way my site looks. After alot of browsing around for that right theme, I finally found one that I feel would be suited to what I wanted to do.

Here’s how my old theme looked like, this theme has served me for a good 3 years now and as we move into the fourth year of this blog (I started the blog in October 6, 2006, on my birthday), I decided that a change definitely is on hand. But it was quite hard cause I was unable to find ‘the right’ theme that I should use. (more…)
