Restoran Kepala Ikan Chan Sow Lin @ Chan Sow Lin

When my relatives dropped by from Ipoh for a visit, we decided to go for some nice meal and one of the place we’ve been wanting to go to was the Curry Fish head restaurant in Chan Sow Lin after my parents shower praises about it’s dishes.

Even though it was lunch time, the crowd hasn’t really trickled in to the restaurant so we manage to get a nice big table in the air conditioned part of the restaurant and our orders taken fairly quickly. (more…)

Restoran SumYi @ Kota Damansara

The area this restaurant is located at are quite new, located near the factory lots between Kota Damansara and the exit to the new highway that connects Shah Alam with Sg. Buloh. This restaurant’s located right next to another chinese restaurant called Restoran Lan Jeh which somehow have a lot of people going to. Food wise, that restaurant’s choice and style are quite limited. But that’s up for another post.

I don’t really know the names of all the dishes that was ordered cause the order was placed fast and quick in cantonese in names I’ve not heard of but the food served was the usual ones we see our parents cooked or eat elsewhere. One thing for sure, the cook at this restaurant know what he’s doing and the food are quite well prepared. (more…)
