MIKEYIP.COM 1min Promotional Video?

Posted By Michael Yip / April, 28, 2011 / 0 comments

Here’s another video straight out of the After Effect rendering I let run over the night. You’ve seen the 30second spot, here’s a 1min promo made last night. I think I’m addicted to playing with the Adobe After Effects but got put off when it comes to the rendering as it takes forever to render due to the heavy use my computer is constantly in.

What do you think of the video? Do feel free to comment as I’m still learning and would definitely help in knowing how I can improve.

mikeyip.com 30sec commercial?

Was playing with the Adobe After Effects and came up with this. Due to my computer having too many graphic intense stuff running on it at the same time as I render this video, it took a good 30minute to render a 30second clip but at the end of the day, I like what I got. Do check it out and share with me what you think.

Do feel free to comment on this 30second video or in Mynjayz’s word, 30second commercial for mikeyip.com. Will share more videos as I render more and more stuff in the coming weeks when I have time to play around with the After Effects again.

Apple’s iPods and iPhones to carry advertising

The Daily Telegraph recently reported that a patent application filed in the United States suggests that the leading technology firm is considering introducing commercials in order to sell its products at a discounted price. Described in the application as “enforcement routine” software, it is believed the technology would force users to watch or listen to small adverts which they would be unable to skip past.

Apple, like all leading technology firms, regularly files experimental patent applications, which never come to fruition. But the inclusion of Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs’ name on the application, has led some commentators to conclude that the idea is being taken seriously by the company. It is believed pressure from rival firms, such as Spotify – which allows users to download free music tracks providing they listen to periodic adverts – has persuaded Apple to take the technology seriously.
