Freedom 360 Party Tour 2011
The Freedom 360 parties across the West Coast of Malaysia has come and go and I was able to join in the fun at Malacca and Penang, skipped Johor as I had a shoot that night in Kuala Lumpur and skipped the Kuala Lumpur because I was sick even though I very much wanted to go as some of my friends was on deck that night.

Initially, the Penang edition was supposed to be held before the others with the Kuala Lumpur marking the finale but no thanks to a bunch of people who decide they want to start a riot in Kuala Lumpur, the Penang edition was postponed to the week after the Kuala Lumpur set. Now, forget about those losers and let’s focus on the fun part of the entire July. (more…)
7aste Queenstown in June!
7aste (pronounced as Taste) is back and this time, it’s going to be Queenstown! No, we are not traveling to Queenstown, New Zealand even though I’d love to but it’s another theme night by 7aste with free flow of drinks, yup, it’s another night of free flow drinking and partying courtesy of 7aste. Yup, come June 17, it’s going to be the chilly Queenstown at Ecoba!

This time though, 7aste will be an exclusive event strictly for invited guests only. There won’t be any last minute invites nor pay-at-the-door entries anymore (as compared to the previous years). So better get yourself the invite before it’s too late. (more…)
Salsa in Malaysia: Salsa Social Dance Venues
Here’s a compilation of venues to go when you are looking for a place to dance salsa. These are venues that I personally know of so if there’s any other places that is hosting any Salsa Social parties on the days I’ve not stated down, please let me know. I’m listing it down from Monday to Sunday rather than having specific dates of the month as the days and venues has remained consistently the same throughout each week when it comes to Salsa Social parties.

Launch of La Bomba Latin Club & Event Center – Photos and Video
On the day when Malaysia celebrates its 47th Birthday as a complete country (with the inclusion of Sabah and Sarawak), La Bomba Restaurant Latin Club and Event Center open it’s doors officially for business. Located at the Lower Ground Floor of StarHill, it’s prime location is just a stone’s throw away from all the nearest hawker centers and shopping malls.
Launched with the Percussion Piece before the Cuban Ambassador along with other VVIPs officiate the opening by cutting the ribbon to the club. This followed by performances by several notable Latin Dance Schools from around Kuala Lumpur followed by opening up of the floor to salsa dancers. (more…)
Portraits: Linda
3rd set of 2010 introducing Linda. Simple shoot using natural lights shot using the Nikon D300. I adjusted the levels on these photos again after I migrate all my stuff from my old notebook to the new one.

Looking at the photos after I extract them out of my old computer, I realized now why a lot of people say the photos I posted are slightly over-exposed. I guess the screen on my old notebook had been deceiving me and when I adjust the Levels, I adjusted it according to what I see on the screen. I even asked @StrippedSteph a few times when I was editing whether it was ok judging from the what we see from my computer.
Well… after migrating to this new notebook that has a properly calibrated screen, I realized that either that screen is fading in screen life or it was just designed like that (even though it’s already at it’s brightest). I’m no expert in photoshopping and no expert when it comes to all these color mumbo jumbo but hopefully, there will be some improvement when it comes to the contrast of the photos.

Yes, there’s only 3 photos from this set. I’ve posted the rest to my Flickr account so do feel free to comment on the above photos.
