Hancock Screening

Thanks to the people at Nuffnang, last night, went to watch the screening of HANCOCK at Cineleisure Damansara.

Hancock is a superhero film directed by Peter Berg and starring Will Smith, Jason Bateman, and Charlize Theron. John Hancock (Will Smith) is an unhappy and reluctant superhero who is living in his own world. For some unknown reason, Hancock is depressed and has started drinking very heavily. He has saved many lives in Los Angles over the years, but in doing so, he has no regards for damaging buildings, trains, roads, cars, or anything that gets in his way to get the job done. The last time he captured several criminals, it cost the city $9 million to fix the damages. The public has had enough of Hancock, and they want him to stop or go to another city. Then one day, Hancock saves the life of Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman) from being run over by a train. Ray is a Public Relations executive who now can go home to his wife and child, because Hancock was there. Ray owes Hancock his life, and he makes it his mission to change his superhero’s image and have the public cheering him.

Thanks to Nuffnang as well, walked away with a nice little goodie bag containing the following at the movie too!

Here’s my little rendition of being Hancock … what you think? BWAHAHAHA

My fav. quote from the movie:

Pissed Fat Guy: You know? Somebody should sue you!
Hancock: You know what? You should sue McDonalds, cuz they fucked you up!

Colbie Caillat LIVE in Malaysia

Colbie Caillat had a showcase at The Curve on Friday night and I was there to capture it all down on print so to say. The whole event was supposed to start at 8pm but due to an hour long shower. Her appearance was pushed back to about 9pm

Adam C and Natalie Kniese was there to keep the party going despite the rain by giving away free CDs and posters. About 9.20pm, the whole group showed up and got the show going. Screams got louder and the live performance got better and better.

Here’s 10 of my selected shots for your enjoyment.

What do you think of these series of photos? These were selected from a set of 40 photos that I have hosted on Facebook and here. Feel free to comment, your comments will be moderated.

Manhattan Fish Market @ Cineleisure Damansara

It’s been quite awhile since we last went out for dinner and a nice movie, so on Saturday, after many weeks of working only, I went to The Curve to have our nice little dinner and catch the 30 Days of Night at Cineleisure Damansara. If you’ve not watched the movie, don’t waste your time and money. It’s not worth it…

What we had for dinner? After long hours of thinking what to eat, we decided to go for the Manhattan Fish Market. And these were the choice.

The usual 3 items that was served with each dishes you order.

Tomato Soup …. I don’t like it so Missmynx drank it all…

What we had was the Seafood Platter for Two.

Quite a few friends commented that the standard and portion of the food in MFM has dropped but I still feel it’s quite alright. Not like we go to MFM often.
