Creating Art through photography?

These sunset shots by the beach was shot along the same time as the lalang shots but instead of just posting up the photos as what I normally do, this time around, I tried to play around with photoshop, to see what kind of effect I can turn up with all those filters, plug-ins and actions. Setting Sun Over Port Dickson

Another landscape series from me, this was shot at Port Dickson near the Yacht Club against a hazy backdrop. As you know, lately the west coast of Malaysia has been enveloped by a layer of haze, it’s nothing new of course since Indonesia, our oh so friendly neighbor like to burn things in the open and fan it our way.

How come none of our enforcement officers are issuing them with any summons when they are so diligently issuing summons for even the most minute of offenses? Isn’t open burning an offense? (more…)

Creating Art out of Photography?

These days, as you can see on my blog, I’ve been actively going around taking photos, basically of anything and everything that caught my attention.

Some of them nice, some of them not, some of them overly done, some of them… well, you get the idea. These are two photos I took recently, I kind of like it but the original was just a tad too …. plain for me. So I started playing around with them using photoshop and photomatix pro.
