Restoran Makanan Ban Lee
If you’re heading to Jalan Ipoh from Chow Keat Road, this is one restaurant you’d see on the left just next to Dynasty Hotel. The signage is old but the words can still be read. Restoran Makanan Ban Lee is the name.

Was there last week for lunch after I ran some errants and as I’ve always seen this restaurant packed to the brim at night, my friends and I decide to give it a try at lunch time. What they serve there? Bak Kut Teh! Yup, that’s what we had.

What I think of the food? The meat’s fantastic, as I asked for them to ensure there’s more fats than meat. That’s precisely what I received, along with some ribs and some vegetables.
As for the soup? I feel that there’s abit too much MSG for my taste. Having eaten so many Bak Kut Teh in my life, this one does feel too much MSGish. Cups after cups of chinese tea was downed throughout the 1 hour meal.

Would I go back there for another round? Don’t think so unless I had no choice. Why I say that? Well, I had a habit of feeding the animals that comes about my table when I eat, I’ve thrown bones onto the floor at the Bak Kut Teh restaurant in Klang and the cats would just grab it and chew on it even until after I left, but the pussy that was at Ban Lee refuses to even touch the meat after it took a whiff of what I gave it.

Klang Bak Kut Teh
Over the weekend, went to Klang for some discussion and come lunch time, decide to go grab some Bak Kut Teh. What else is there in Klang other than Bak Kut Teh? Right? (Ok lah.. there’s seafood too but those are not Pork!)
Anyway… the food was excellent. Ain’t going to write much about it as usual, I’ll just let the pictures do the talking.

So what do you think? I hope you get hungry soon by looking at my photographs. Feel free to C&C about it.
