Advertising + Marketing Magazine’s Agency of the Year Awards 2010

It’s the Grammy of the Advertising world, that time of year where you get all the known advertising agencies/PR agencies in Malaysia shoved into a single room (ok ok it’s a freaking big ball room) and shouting matches was a norm. Not that each agencies are shouting at each other but shout of cheers when their names get called up. This is the A+M’s Agency of the Year 2010 Award night.

It was 2 years since the last time I attended this event and it felt good to be back, a lot of familiar faces, a lot of faces I’ve not seen for ages since the time I was with ASTRO and some new faces I just met and get to meet again there. I’ll let the official website announce to you who the official winners are, I’ll just stick to the pleasantry of showing off camwhoring photos from that night. Congrates to the winners for 2010, next year, we’ll be hearing shouts of our company’s name to get on stage!

The weekend was abuzz with activities as bloggers from Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines gathered in Singapore with the Singaporean bloggers for the biggest blog award ceremony the Asia Pacific region has ever witnessed.

Triumph Inspiration Award Malaysia National Finals ’08

A week ago, I received an invitation from Triumph to attend the Triumph Inspiration Award held at Bintang Circle, Pavilion in KL yesterday evening (21st May). Loads of local celebrities and loads of photographers, including some that has no respect for the Official Photographers and Event Organizers (is it because they felt since they are the oldest there, they get the Old People Privilege?). And I mean if you were asked nicely by the Event Organizers to get off the Official Photog’s platform, definitely you will do so right? Well, I was told that these two ‘veterans’ felt that they don’t have to conform to any rules set by the organizers and insist they are to stand on the platform.

Anyway, I’m not here to write about that, it’s not my problems anyway even though the organizers came and bitch to me. I’m there as a guest and I’m definitely there to enjoy myself with the show, the food and the cam-whoring with all my buddies at the venue. (more…)
