Guided Tour around Bali Part 1 of 3

It was the New Year, just 4 days into 2010 and we were on the way to the Airport to catch a flight to this little island west of Malaysia. Initially, I was supposed to head over somewhere else for a job but since that was canceled, here we are, off to a nice getaway before the start of the 2010 rat race (for myself).

We got into the AirAsia’s flight to Bali and landed at Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport at around 1pm. From there, we head over to Haven Hotel where we checked in, relaxed and get ready to head over to our 1st tour. (more…)

In what is possibly Formula 1′s most outrageous news story of the year, AirAsia boss Tony Fernandes, whose Tune Group finances the Lotus team, has accepted a challenge laid down by Virgin’s Sir Richard Branson – whichever man is beaten by his rival F1 team next season will dress as a stewardess for his competitor’s airline. Took these portraits for Joyce at the park opposite Amcorp Mall. At first, we thought that we won’t be able to capture any shots before it rains as the storm clouds closed in but as we head to the spot I chosen, the cloud parted ways for a nice afternoon sky amidst the bloody haze. World Air Traffic in 24 hours

This is a very cool video that I stumbled upon on youtube.

It is a 24 hour observation of all of the large aircraft flights in the world, recorded by plane flight transponders, via Geo-stationary orbital satellites all compressed to a min.
