Charlie Wilkins, Skateboard Maestro at Play

One of the maestro of skateboarding, Charlie Wilkins showed me what he can do even while he’s just having fun. I decided against the headshot of him cause I’ve got the following to share instead.

When he came out to play with Trevor Wards, everyone practically stops and watch. Trevor didn’t do much except trying out some simple moves around the skate park. (more…)

Kids @ Playground

Almost every evening when the weather is good, I’ll bring the kids to the playground to play. Kids from the area come out to play ever so often and boy, these kids do have abundance of energy making them run around a lot without feeling the least tired.

One of the day we were there, decide to take out my camera to snap some photos of the kids and their friends. It’s nice that at the end of the day, we can look back at the photos and remember how it was. This is very much so when they get older and start to do their own things without wanting you to be around them. (more…)

Who’s photos would you like to see first?

A week back, I went to FRIM to do some shoot with these 2 ladies. Finally found a connection that’s fast enough for me to upload photos so here’s my question.

The lady on the left is Ying Ying and the lady on the right is Li Peng. Who would you like to see first? Just comment with their names and I’ll be posting them photos up.

My Fav. Fast Food Outlet In The Klang Valley

I was bored one afternoon, so grab my neighbor’s kapchai and rode out to this place. You can say that it’s my favorite fast food outlet in the Klang Valley for a three simple reasons.

  1. It’s near to my home
  2. It’s 24hours
  3. It serves my favorite fast food meals.

So here it is, without much needed introduction.

This is a Single Photo HDR. Just doing it out of fun, it’s not the best HDR that everyone can see but still, love it cause done by me.

Weird Colored Moon

Was sitting out in the garden one night unable to sleep and spotted this moon with a weird color. Guess it could be due to reflection from lights nearer me or clouds or something.

Well, yeah, just a boring post about a moon that everyone can see by walking out of their house and staring up in the sky.

Perseids Meteor

2am, despite the slight drizzle in my area, I decide to venture out to some other parts of KL in hope to capture the Perseids Meteor. This image was captured around 3am just when I was giving up, stacked 5 exposures together on the camera, trigger by remote with mirror lock-up to minimize any shakes. It’s not exactly like what we see anywhere else but heck, it’s not often that I get to capture a faint image of the meteor shower right?

I actually duplicate the images on top of each other via photoshop in the hope to brighten the showers up so we can actually see it here but I think my attempt at it just make it look fake. Anyhow, this is the only one of two I manage to capture with a faint hint of a meteor shower. The other one looks pathetically like this. (more…)

The Santa Fe Experience

The following photos are done in a way emulating a car poster to promote a vehicle to an extend. I’m not sure if it worked but do feel free to comment on them.

I had an opportunity to test drive the Santa Fe in rough conditions, not through Hyundai but through a client that I was shooting for. As the location we went to are very rough for a normal car, the best alternative is to use a 4×4, it’s tall enough to not get the car stuck in mud, rocks or any objects that could stop a car dead in it’s track.

The Machine that brings you where no ordinary car dare go (more…)

Birds Birds Birds!

A couple of Sundays back, jrhogan and I decide to go and shoot some birds. A very impromptu arrangement that was made not by sms or phone calls but over a chatroom filled with all sort of conversation. Amazing how we could still arrange to do something in a busy chatroom with a very constant and fast flow of messages by each users. Anyway, an arragement we did have and at noon on the sunday, we set off to the location to try and shoot some birds. These are what I caught… through my lens. I will try to name each bird species accordingly but do let me know if I got any one of them wrong.

Manchester United vs Malaysia – Photos from Field Level

The stadium wasn’t as packed as the Saturday game, must say that the Malaysian team wasn’t playing as well as the first game either. Here are some of my thoughts along with loads of photos.

The Starting 11

The defensive players held on tight to their positioning and did well even though 2 goals were scored against them. Can’t really compare much between a team that’s been playing together for an entire season and a team assembled 12 days prior to the game right? (more…)
