As mentioned in the previous post, left Salsa Havana in the wee hour of the morning and it strucked us that we didn’t really had our dinner yet and saying that, the hunger alarms starts to go off in our respective stomachs.
Claypot Loh Shu Fun: The reason we were there!
I actually drove around Jalan Alor for awhile while thinking of what to eat, we actually decide to just stop at the Hokkien Mee stall before I decide to go towards Petaling Street. It’s been awhile since we last had Claypot Loh Shu Fun and so off to Seng Kee we go.
Yau Mak aka Romaine Lettuce: I just learned it’s english name today!
Located at Petaling Street just before the turn-off towards BP House/MABA. At 3am, Seng Kee was packed with customers, no wonder they are willing to open until so late. Anyway, the usual dishes we order was none other than the Claypot Loh Shu Fun followed by my favorite Deep Fried Roast Pork and “Yau Mak”. The only other vegetable apart from Spinash that I like to eat without complains.
Deep Fried Roast Pork: Lard infested excellent Dish
With all the oil shortage scare that goes around, the cook doesn’t seem to be worried at all as the Roast Pork was served with a healthy amount of oil floating about. The same goes with the vegetables but I’m not complaining.
