Salsa Social @ ShivZ Grill
Another place has open up it’s floors to Salsa dancing on Sunday, for those of you wondering where to go on a Sunday to dance. Check out Shiv’s Grill located in Bangsar. It faces the main road, just a few doors away from Maybank. Crowd starts trickling in at 10pm and the dance floor will start to fill up by 11pm.
That doesn’t mean you won’t be able to find a place to dance as there’s always a space not occupied by dancers and bystanders. One side of the place is lined by rows of tables for those of yo who wants to go and get something to eat before you start dancing and smaller tables is placed along the other side of the dance floor for those who just want a place to put their bags and drinks.
Food and drinks there are reasonably priced compared to many other places so there’s not much to worry. Quite a good selection of choice with it’s western cuisine with a sprinkle of Indian spices.
ShivZ opens from 11am to 11pm but on Sunday Nights, it’s doors stays open to salsa dancers until 1am so it’s all good. If you plan to go there late, try to get there before 12 cause if you’re there by 12.15am and so on, the last song will normally be played at 12.30am so it’ll be pointless.
