Salsa Social @ Paradize Bar & Lounge
Friday night, decide to check out Paradize Bar & Lounge @ The Lodge after I drop her off for work. With a bit of time to waste until she’s done with work. What better place to go than to go dance salsa for a few hours, giving myself a good sweat along the way right?
This is the first time I drop by Paradize Bar or better known among the Salseras and Salseros, Paradiso, and first impression, it’s quite a nice place, ample space to dance with nice seating arrangements where you can sit down, have a good chat with friends while still able to watch the dancing happening on the dance floor. For those that’s just there to chill with friends, there’s also the area near the bar that’s more quiet.
There’s quite a number of new faces and some old faces I’ve not catch up with for some time and it’s great to be partying with them again. Maybe it’s been a good week since I last had a good dance but I was sweating buckets at Paradize Bar. In an hour, my clothes was already soaking wet and as it was a last minute decision to go dancing, I didn’t bring enough change of clothes to change into so only thing to do, constantly wipe the sweat down and dry my clothes by standing in front of the fan.
At this outing, there was also some salsa dancers from US who dropped by and when they head onto the dance floor. All we could do is just watch and gawk as they were really good. Found out later that Gulsaya is a pro-team member of Baso Society New York. At about 12.45pm, I had to take a bow and head off and definitely will be going back Paradize Lounge again when there’s a chance as it does provide us with a venue to go dance on a Friday.
