Roast Duck @ Loong Foong Seafood Restaurant

After eating at Sunrise Duck at Seapark for a number of time now, I decide to bring Stephenie to another famous restaurant where people just lined up in droves to buy Roast Ducks. That place was known as Loong Foong Seafood restaurant located just about 15minutes walk from Sunrise. The place operates only at night but you can see people lining up to buy ducks there from as early as 5ish. I used to be one of them who would go there to buy on the way home from work.

Got ourselves a nice place to sit and proceed to order half a duck with a simple plate of vege. It took them about 5min before serving us our food which is quite ok looking at the amount of people waiting in line for their take-away.

I must say that the standard for the roast duck had slightly dropped, after eating at Sunrise so often recently, we find that the roast duck at Loong Foong isn’t that good anymore. It’s not as crispy as the other restaurant and isn’t as juicy as well. It could be one of their off days but I’m not sure as it’s been awhile since I ate there and I was told that it’s not good to eat too much duck.

Anyway, it’s one of the recommended place to go if you like roast duck and want to get some for dinner as not many other places in the Petaling Jaya area served better roast ducks in the evening. Well, not that I know of that is.
