Restoran Super Kitchen Chilly Pan Mee @ Kota Damansara
Even though the Super Kitchen Restaurant has been around for some time near my home in Kota Damansara, I’ve always been traveling down to their outlet in the Chow Keat area and that’s when I decided that why waste petrol traveling all the way down there when there’s just one around the corner from where I stay?

And so, it’s the Super Kitchen Restaurant near my home I went, along with some friends to have a go. Like all the Chilly Pan Mee outlets (including Kin Kin), the place starts to get packed by 12pm and so we decided to have an early lunch, and by the time we got there, it was already packed! It was pure madness!

And from there, I turn my attention to the food I ordered. As a Glutton, I ordered 2 bowls. The 1st to arrive is the Chilly Pan Mee (@RM5.50), the look of it is the same as every other branches you go to. Served in a bowl with a poached egg, minced meat and fried Anchovies. You’re supposed to mixed it up nicely with some dried chilly paste that is available on every table.

After it’s mixed with the Dried Chilly Paste.

The next one I ate was the Curry Pan Mee (@RM6.00). It’s basically the same thing but served in a bowl of curry. And if you find the curry isn’t spicy enough for you, you can also mixed it in with the dried chilly paste but you’ve been warned.

One of the guys that came along for lunch ordered the Pan Mee Soup (@RM5.50) which is basically your typical … Pan Mee Soup. But he decide to bring the soup up a notch by putting in a hearty amount of dried chilly paste. The end result?

Lastly, a bowl of Wantan Dumpling (@RM4.00 for Small and @RM10.00 for Big) was ordered to compliment the meal we ordered, not like I haven’t eaten my fill of pan mee after 2 bowls right? I would say that the dumplings is nothing to shout about as I’ve ate better dumplings elsewhere. But hey, the star of the restaurant is teh dried chilly pan mee right?

All in all, the service was quite fast, once an order is placed, it’ll take them about 5min to serve (unless the restaurant’s packed to the brim then the serving time is about 15minutes after an order is placed). Definitely a place I’ll go back to more often compared to driving all the way down to KL to have my pan mee fix.
