Restoran SumYi @ Kota Damansara

The area this restaurant is located at are quite new, located near the factory lots between Kota Damansara and the exit to the new highway that connects Shah Alam with Sg. Buloh. This restaurant’s located right next to another chinese restaurant called Restoran Lan Jeh which somehow have a lot of people going to. Food wise, that restaurant’s choice and style are quite limited. But that’s up for another post.

I don’t really know the names of all the dishes that was ordered cause the order was placed fast and quick in cantonese in names I’ve not heard of but the food served was the usual ones we see our parents cooked or eat elsewhere. One thing for sure, the cook at this restaurant know what he’s doing and the food are quite well prepared.

One of my new favorite dishes also comes from this restaurant, the Butter Chili Fried Chicken. Quite nicely prepared, not too spicy even my kids can eat and the butter isn’t too creamy that even I can have. Here’s just a compilation of the food that we ordered, I’m sure you’d be able to name them easily by looking at it.

Price wise, the place is quite reasonably priced. Based on my lousy calculation, it’ll work out to the same amount of price you’d pay for all the vegetable and meat and a tad more to pay someone to cook. Not too bad compared to some where you pay through your nose for something you can cook at home.
