Portraits: Linda @ The Fight Club
The 4th series of 2010 has Linda in a little Muay Thai action. She is not a professional fighter nor is she one who know about Martial Arts but she was willing to learn and adjust when I request her to do a particular pose or do a particular movement/gestures.

Can’t expect the poses to be perfect like I said before but nevertheless still good for a person who never fought before.

It took her quite a while to get the hang of doing a flying knee strike as it’s hard for her to control both her hands and legs at the same time which is a bit more natural for martial artists. Among the few sequence I captured, this one is so far the nearest to what I wanted her to do.

This shot was to get her to execute a Roundhouse Kick but of course, like I mentioned earlier, the coordination between her hands and legs during the execution is not perfect. And just like the previous shot, this is the closest I could get her to do what I needed.

Feel free to let me know what you think so I could improve on my shots. If you know of any martial artistes who wants to get some shots done, do let me know as I’ve been having this plan in my head to do some martial art shots and it’s hard to do the shoots with models who’s not a proper fighter.
