Portraits: Li Peng

Li Peng was a wonderful subject to work with on a nice cool sunday evening and as she has done this many times over, to get her to pose is quite an easy thing to do.

The location we used is the ever popular FRIM. So popular that many a times when you look at wedding albums, you’re bound to recognize some of the location that the photographer used just looking at the photos.

In this set, all the shots taken are done with just the natural light from the sun except for the last one which was shot with a strobe blasting from Li Peng’s left at 1/2 the strength.

Do feel free to let me know what you think of the shots. Simple stuff done over an hour at the venue as it drizzled when we were on our way. After awhile, it was unbearable for her as mozzies start to flood the area seeking fresh blood for dinner. More photos of Li Peng can be found here.

    @Jimi: Thanks :D

    @Hitomi: Yes, all is same person. Why look different? Cause I want her to be different for every shot. Pointless to see only one style all the way when she’s versatile enough to do more right? :D

    The 1st photo was good, but I would prefer to crop until the chest area, the area below that is unnecessary IMO.

    the 2nd looks like a LookBook image, but would be great if you can PP more.

    This photo didn’t work for me. The PP ruined the whole image, looks weird.

    Last one I can’t comment, because I know nothing about strobing. but the pose is weird though.

    just a thought,

    cheers! =D

    @Nicholas: Thanks for the input. Will keep it in mind for my next shoot. For this one, the client’s quite happy with what I delivered so it’s all good :D
