Portrait: Adele Chow

It was a nice Friday afternoon when 3 bloggers, jloi, cwken and myself decide to take some portraiture and roped in Adele to be our victim Model. The location was this place I’ve previously used for my shoot before and so I thought why not bring them there and let them have some fun in the place. Here’s my favorite photos from the shoot.

What do you think of them? Do feel free to comment and let me know what you think. You can view the rest of the photos at my Flickr album.

    @Kenwooi: Thanks

    @Nigel: Thank You. Yeah, the run-down look of this place does provide a great backdrop for photography and video. Was told by some of the people there that recently NTV7 was there as well to shoot some scenes.

    Nice! Not so “noisy” this time. I like the first pic the most cos your model really stands out colour-wise and she looks great! The one where she’s sitting on the big brown chocolate bar-like slab is great too!

    Wish I was more photogenic =/

    @PoisonKagero: LOL thanks. Well, it doesn’t matter how a person look, it’s how the image is captured. :D A person can be photogenic if captured in the right manner. :D

    In some of the photos the flash might be slightly too harsh on the skin maybe it’s just me =)

    plus it would be great if you could slim down her legs too! photoshop power :)

    just a thought, cheers!

    my comment…the first and second look really obvious of copy-and-paste work.( comment based on layman’s view…)

    Background is super nice.

    6.5/10

    Yet, I still love the wedding pictures.11/10

    @Nicholas Chin: LOL, it’ll look too weird if you slim a person down too much, it won’t look proportionate. Harsh lighting was on purpose. :D

    @Manji Tan: LOL.. What do you mean by Copy and Paste Work? I don’t get you, you mean I super impose the person onto the background or the background isn’t real? LOL. No shots in this set are from studio, all on location. LOL

    haha well I mean only the legs, cuz some parts of it looked too bulky to my taste, doesnt look proportionate to her slim body figure =)
