Pepsi’s Longest Dribble Challenge

Last Sunday, after returning from Malacca, I received a call from David inviting me over to Titiwangsa Park for the Pepsi’s Longest Dribble Challenge. And so around 8ish, I was picked up at the Damansara Jaya Petronas station and with Christien New and Lavin Seow, we headed over to the Titiwangsa Park.

The Eye of Malaysia

The traffic at that place was horrendous no thanks to having several events being cramped into one area resulting in a bad traffic crawl into the venue. Arriving at the place, all the artists was briefed by the organizers on what to do and where to stand before the arrival of the ball for the final stretch of the event.

(L-R: StrippedSteph, Me, Phat Fabs, David Lai, Ben Ibrahim, Lavin Seow, Alam, Christien New)

And so, while waiting for the entourage to arrive, the few of us gathered about to have a chat and get entertained by David Lai who showed us some magician tricks, stumping Phat Fabs and Ben several times, even getting Phat Fab’s watch to go forward an hour and leaving him dumbfounded.

Phat Fabs going “WTF!!! How Did you… What the…. This Is Sick man!!!”

As the cue for the arrival of the dribblers and the ball was sounded, everyone got into position and had their fair share of kickabout before finishing off with the new Minister of Youth and Sports having the final kick into this Poster that Pepsi erected.

The Eye of Malaysia again….

The whole event finished about 10ish and we got ourselves home and into bed, all tired from a long weekend. The whole loads of camwhoring photos can be viewed here.
