Nuffnang’s Silent Halloween Party

Nuffnang’s Silent Halloween Party started off with loads of noise as the bloggers start to trickle in and start to build up. Starting at 6.30pm, the crowd continue to trickle in all the way up til 8pm resulting in the poor nuffies having to sit outside and ensure that all registration was done properly.

Stranger Than Fiction

I went as Harold Crick from Stranger than Fiction (Will Ferrell), it’s the cheapest costume I ever have. All I need is just my working clothes and the tie from Stranger than Fiction. So yeah, I was there as an IRS Agent, and when I put on my ‘Horns’, I became the evil version of Harold Crick, the ‘Horny IRS Agent’ (do some mentalism magic…., I can hear you, reader, I can hear your brain goes…. “this Mike Yip, bloody lame, like that also can…”) .

Anyway, I would have gone as Hollow Man and won’t win any awards, oh wait, I could have won something cause no one really knew I was inside the venue at all in the first place except for a few who was sitting with me at the back of the club. It was only when the dinner buffet line was open that people start walking past me and said, “Eh….. Since when you came in?”.

Angel & Devils

Loads of games was organized and great performances by the Rappers and the Ska Band, which I can tell you I forgot their names, Liang as usual did a good job as the emcee of the night in his Elvis gear. The prize presentation came about towards the end with the presentation for the best ‘silent’ dancer and the best dressed male and female bloggers. Incidentally, both also I knew from the start would never be able to win. The other hope I have for is the best blog post category but then, that’s also tough unless by some strange stroke of luck that I’d win it (doubt that’ll happen too).
