I believe it’s walking distance from where you are staying as long as you know where you’re heading to, the hotels and the Mekong river is quite near each other so as long as you get the right map, you’d be able to find the place

I will travel to Vientiane shortly. I have booked at Orchid Hotel. How far Nazim from that hotel?

There’s a lot of backpacker’s guesthouse along the stretch where Nazim is located, do walk in and check out the rates as they changes according to the season and density of guests.

Thanks for the info Michael.I’m flying to vientiane tomorrow. will try nazim for sure. i’m backpacking. where is a good guesthouse you recommend? if you don’t mind.

@nikel: I’m not in Vietnam but in Laos. Even though they are near each other, it’s a different place all together. And yes, the food here are spicy, wait, let me correct that… it’s FREAKING SPICY! but some places are just quite ok. For example, like Nazim.
