Yeah, it's a problem with Yahoo Messenger as well. There are lots of emails floating around about "such and such group website for yahoo users" I think a lot of the emails direct you to a website called grouply.com or some crap. When I got to the page, it asked me for my yahoo info to find all my friends for their "service" I promptly reported the site to yahoo as a fishing site. Don't think they ever did anything about it, I still get spam directing me there every once in a while in my mail. It claims to put all your yahoo groups on one page for you...which makes you want to ask, "why wouldn't I use yahoo's groups pages?" Someone I used to talk to years ago on yahoo all of a sudden started sending me spam in messenger (and I think in my mail). I ended up just blocking her, but I'm pretty sure her yahoo got hijacked. @Lisalicious: I think this problem has been around for quite some time and not just when LIVE was released.

@NatC: Make sure you spread the word and tell your friends to change their passwords, if not, it won’t work, you’d still get MSN messages spamming you.
