Monkeying Around
These bunch of monkeys was monkeying around and grabbing crumbs of biscuits thrown by an old lady. With my camera around, I can’t pass off this opportunity to snap some photos and also to take down some notes of the shots I like while I’m at it.

The funny thing is, this malay couple drove by and saw the monkeys and stopped, the lady approached me while her “Abang” wait by the car and asked me what type of monkeys are they in Malay. So I gave her a quick answer along with their behaviors so that she could keep a distance and not be attacked (They do attack when provoked).

After listening to me and looking at some of the photos I took, she then say that I must be some guy from some Nature Society or something like that that goes around documenting stuff like this. I was like… “huh? Do I look like a person that does that?”, she gave me a blank look like she said the wrong thing so I quickly corrected her and told her that I was just passing by the area and saw these monkeys coming out to play. That’s why I sat there near to the monkeys to take photos. She then just giggled and say thanks before going off with her “Abang”.

It’s funny how some people perceived things just because they are looking at it without really knowing what is the actual reason. This also infact applies to the way readers see things when they go into a blog, thinking that they know what the blogger is doing by what the blogger post up. Being Judgemental? I’m not sure if that’s the right word to use, sound too harsh. No? Anyway, it’s always best to find out from the person themselve rather than jumping to conclusions on who the person is or what the person is doing. Don’t just jump straight to conclusion just because you read it and perceived it as the way the blogger wrote it.

Some bloggers, like myself, don’t like to write too much on the ugly side of things, rather, I prefer to share the happier things, the things that could make a person laugh, the things that could make a person feel good, those sort of things. Negative stuff, yes I do have quite a few, but why should I share it with the readers that drop by my site? This is my blog and I choose what I want to put up. That’s the way it has always been. I’m not here to report to anyone what I am currently doing, what my conditions is and so forth. The Internet has long since been an open book, you put up the wrong thing and the whole world will know about it. Right? So I choose what I want to share and what I want to keep within myself. If you think you could guess what I’m currently doing and so forth by reading my blog, well, you got it wrong. Go be miserable elsewhere.

OK, I’m getting out of control with my ranting if I keep going. Back to the monkeys, these monkeys are wild creatures, they are playful yet they can attack you if they feel treaten. One of them almost jumped me cause I reached out for a bread crump to put nearer to myself hoping for one of the young ones to come near for me to take a photo. Even the domestic ones are violent to anyone they never met before and felt treaten. So do becareful you want to go near these creatures, they are nice and friendly but could turn the tide on things if provoked. The ones I post up here are the ones I like, you can find more monkeys on my flickr.
