Midnight Rugby 10s

Recently, I attended this unique Rugby match that was played from sun down til, well, very late. The name of the event’s known as the Rugby Midnight 10s where as you guess it, teams play rugby at midnight.

It was an interesting concept and was told that this is the 2nd year it was held. The Winning purse is USD11,000 which is ALOT when you convert back to Ringgit Malaysia or Singapore Dollars. Right? As usual, I won’t drown you with loads of text but with loads of photos from the event.

The cup game was eventually won by NS Wanderers when they beat The Cobras to an impressive win. Great runs and great strategies, some of the first time rugby viewers was shocked at how brutal the game was played. When the two teams collide, boy, you could feel the shock wave of those collisions all the way to the Grand stand. More photos from the event here.
