This is ridiculous where a report from UTUSAN MALAYSIA publish this report about Jakim confirming that HP Sauce and Tabasco Pepper Sauce contains Pig’s DNA.

The English translation of the Malay article is as follow:

KUALA LUMPUR, June 15 – All the new and the Malaysian Halal Certificate applicants who use the products HP Sauce and Tabasco Pepper Sauce instructed to change to other products that have a halal certificate following the discovery of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) pigs in the product.

According to the director of the Halal Hub Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), Sazali Harun, they were also asked to make the process of tanning and tanning letter of proof from the State Islamic Religious Department to Jakim respectively.

“Jakim had previously taken samples of the product and the results confirm the Chemistry Department of Malaysia there are pig DNA in it.

“They are also required to submit a receipt for the purchase of new products to us,” he said in a statement here today.

In a separate statement, he said, Malaysia Halal Certificate for the Company Lucky Food Processing Sdn. Bhd., Withdrawn with effect immediately following the discovery of pig DNA in Chicken Burger products Taiwan Sausage Chicken Patties and output.

Pulling the halal certificate on the company are based on the results of the Malaysian Halal Certification Panel meeting held on 22 April.

Now I don’t know about you but this is just bullshit! Either Jakim really is messed up or Utusan Malaysia yet again went about creating some cock and bull story just to get their papers sold. If that is true, something should be done about this newspaper as they have been coming up with articles that is just full of bollocks.
