Installing iPhone Apps
I’m posting this cause I was asked by not one, not two but quite a number of new iPhone users about how to install stuff into their iPhone. And so, the not so Tech Savvy person occasionally asked, how the heck do we install apps and games into the iPhone? Need to pay ah? Which Website to go? Well, hopefully this will help answer your questions.

Well, if your phone’s jailbroken and you want to install free or paid apps without paying for it, you can give it a try with this helpful tip by Gizmodo. If you’re new iPhone users with phones purchased from an official iPhone dealer or Telco like Singtel (for Singapore) or Maxis (for Malaysia). You can just go straight into the App Store button on your iPhone and shop away. Look for the icon on the first page of your iPhone.

Once you’re in, you’ll see a similar page like the image and from there, you can just select away, normally I’d start off with the Categories and from there, select the FREE button (as I don’t want to pay for the Apps) and see what stuff I could find. You’ll be surprised by the amount of good Free Apps in the App store.

Once you’ve selected the Apps you want to use, just click on the Free/ $0.99 button at the top of the screen, you’ll have to purchase the app if it’s a paid app or you just proceed to install. The App will then be displayed in your iPhone’s page with a cool blue bar below it showing that it’s being installed, once the blue bar filled up, you can start use the App to your heart’s content. Repeat the process again for each application you want to use.
Next, I’ll post up list of FREE APPs I found and like in the iPhone’s App Store. So do check back for that update yeah.
