My friends and I picked Sunday to party at We Love Asia 2013 and we got there in time for Day Post‘s set, guess the timing for the whole event was off due to the earlier shower as most people was still outside waiting to get in at 7pm.
The crowd only started to fill up the place by 8, by then, Rojak Bois was almost ending their set and prepare for an excellent set by Joachim Garraud. He played some of the more notable number by other deejays but putting his own twist to the set with Live synth.
Redfoo of LMFAO and the Party Rock Crew (Quest Crew in the house!) then came on stage and brought the place down with their own style of party rocking. The crowd totally went nuts when they did I’m Sexy And You Know It along with the pants ripping!
Steve Aoki came on to end the night but I must say that compared to the earlier sets, his was a bit more toned down. I would have expected him to raise it up a notch as Joachim and Red Foo had build the crowd up to a frenzy. We got bored by the 5th song and left.
Partying at the Cabana area, must say that Berry Bee kept me entertained going up and down to the drink stations constantly making sure all drinks are flowing while we waited for the party to start.
Of course, the night’s partying won’t be complete without the people who came and partied with me. Sadly, the one I hoped to come along couldn’t make it but it was still a fun night! (Camwhore photos with the babes, the others, you can check out at my Facebook Page!)
It was definitely a good night of partying, it’s been awhile since I last partied hard like this instead of working. Let’s see what 2013 will have in store for us as this will definitely set the benchmark for what party goers are going to expect for the year.
