H-Factor @ Kota Kinabalu : Hannah Tan Surprise Party

AS most people who follows Hannah Tan‘s career and life knows, her birthday falls on the Saturday, 26th of October. It’s also the day we arrived in Kota Kinabalu from KL. So what do bunch of people do when they get together knowing that some one’s birthday is there? We throw the girl a Surprise Birthday Party!

That’s what the crew of H-Factor did for Hannah. As soon as we arrived at the Hotel lobby, we were told to whisk ourselves to our room, changed and get back down to be ready for dinner. 15minutes later when we were already on the yatch, Hannah showed up, all blind folded not knowing where she was being led to… What a good time to take her to sell and make a huge profit eh?

Upon reaching the boat, her blind fold was removed, everyone shout SURPRISE!!!! and you can see her grinning from ear to ear shouting THANK YOU AND I’M ON A YACHT!!! I’M ON A YACHT!! I’M CELEBRATING MY BIRTHDAY ON A YACHT!!!I didn’t get any of that in photo but I have it on video. As she got up to the upper deck, we sang the customary birthday song before she cut the cake.

You should try heading out to sea in a rainy condition where the sea is basically choppy, the ride enjoyable and it’s like going on a very excellent roller coaster ride, minus the predictability. We’ve people getting sea sick, Titanic re-enactment, loads of screaming when the girls thought they were going to fall over when the boat suddenly dip and loads of laughter.

A 30min yacht ride around the choppy ocean later, we were all back at the dock, have our dinner on the yacht and basically hung around mingling and being chirpy and talking and …. yah you get the idea for the rest of the night. As the crew were send back to the hotel, some of us went off for some drink somewhere. More adventures from the Kota Kinabalu H-Factor edition to come soon.
