H-Factor @ KL – The Final Leg
H-Factor ended it’s final leg at Seri Pacific in Kuala Lumpur, after 3 weeks of travelling about. You can say that for the crew, it’s a good change when you are working near home instead. I found out later in the event that even though we were back on home turf, most of the crew had to stay at the hotel at the end of the day cause they were working day and night to get everything ready which means, no going homeeee… (whistle Michael Buble’s song – Home)

One thing I observed after all that is the speakers, they pulled out all the stops. At each venue, they got better and you can say that reached KL, they were at their peak! Our friend from Penang, Vnn, could testify to that as she was at both the Penang and the KL leg and she pointed it out too that the style and confidence level of the speakers was so difference.

Aside from the speakers, we also had a guest performer in the form of Shawn Lee, the son of Reggie Lee (the cartoonist if you’re still living in your shell). It was after the lunch break when he was introduced to the crowd and when he start beatboxing, everyone start cheering away cause for a punk who’s just 17 years old (can you sense that feeling of jealousy here?), he was quite amazing!

Fellest, who injured himself at Kota Kinabalu last week also did fantastic and with some of his friends performing with him here in KL, you can hear every girl’s heartbeat skipped a beat each time he dances and everyone held their breath when Alex came out and perform his move. I will try to get the performance onto youtube and share it with you all so do check back often to see that update. He ended the whole show with a performance to Hannah Tan’s song, Making A Difference.

I’d like to say a big Thank You to Hannah Tan for this excellent thing she put together and the best thing is, she did it out of loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee, even though there’s sponsors and all involved, she put up her own savings into making sure this thing is a big success and teens of Malaysia get to learn something from the Entertainment & Creative community.

The team also did a fantastic job, taking their time out of their studies and exam to put all these together. Like Hannah said at the debriefing, if these guys want to come out and join the event industry, what they have done these last 4 weeks would be a huge leverage as the experience gained from it was huge. Also, everyone worked so well together it’s like a huge professional outfit. For the photos from the KL Leg, click here.
